| 7.30 Morning swim/yoga – GM Aldona, Lithuania In early morning, we embraced the refreshing 15°C sea for a swim and gathered for yoga on the beach. Filled with this vibrant energy, we greeted the sun, the earth, and everything around us, sending love and our warmest wishes out into the entire world. |

| 10.00 Welcome and open ceremony GM Wenche and GM Toni welcomed the guests and presented the topic «The Power of the Circle». We started the meeting with our song/lyric; “There is no time but now – there is no place but here – in the sacred we do stand – in a circle hand in hand”. The whole circle of guests and Grandmothers introduced themselves in the circle.The European Council’s history back to 2015 was told by GM Erika.  |
| 11.30 Circle Dance – GM Sophia, France On the theme of “the Power of the Circle” GM Sophia led the group in a circle dance during which a connection was made between the cardinal directions through the heart. Each time we turned in a direction before beginning the dance movements. At the end, we experienced the power of the group in the circle, sending energies of Light and Love out to Europe and our entire planet! This dance comes from the Cherokee tradition (performed with some modifications) |

| 14.30 The Artist Eike Eschholz took part in the meeting. Eike explained how she had worked on her project “ Walfahrt”, 2016 to 2020 about the female qualities of 13 Grandmothers and 13 countries. She displayed the piece of art she had created for GM Aldona from Lithuania: a picture of who she is and what her gift to the world is.. She had invited us in 2021 to the “Kongress Walfahrt” in Germany. (http://www.eike-eschholz.de/walfahrt/) Story telling by GM Beate, Norway The heritages of the Nornes, written and told by GM Beate Heide. One Grandmother and 2-4 audience members talked about “The thoughts the story gives you”. Beate led a summary where the group together gave their reflections. From the presentations it turned out that there had been very personal and meaningful conversations. Then we ended by opening up the dialogue in the whole circle. |

| 20.30 Full Moon Peace Fire – GM Irene, Switzerland Irene introduced us to the meditation: “Just as the daily wave of early morning birdsong envelops us and our Earth – once a day, across all time zones around the globe, anew every day – so too does a great, slow wave of countless small, nourishing fires move all around us and our earth in the night around the full moon. So many people and circles connecting, so many interwoven threads of peace, a luminous network, a nourishing embrace!” “It is about inviting the light of peace and trust to myself – my family – my local area – my neighbourhood – my town – more people – the region – the country – Europe – other circles – the Earth.” GM Irene We silently walked together down to the sea, and lit the fire. The first part of the meditation was accompanied by a heartbeat rhythm of the drum. The second part in silence – an opportunity to listen inwards, outwards, still focusing on trustful peace. SUNDAY Public Day: 7.30 Morning swim/yoga – GM Aldona, LItuania 8.30 BREAKFAST 10.00 Songs accompanied by frame drum – Bodil Kreativ Skjølven A story of her way of exploring life and her own songs, accompanied by her frame drums. Titles were: Feelings, Holy circle, Sacred Land and The Power of the Word. 10.20 Circle Dance – by Andrea Isabel Mari Lumo from Klint/Denmark. Andrea taught us three dances, outdoors in the garden dancing in the grass. A natural experience where the circle revealed how collaboration flows when we allow space for one another and for ourselves. 11.10 Water ceremony – GM Monika, Iceland To honor and celebrate water. Water is the basis of life. Without water there is no life. The ocean is the beginning of the earth. All life comes from the sea. In the middle of our circle each of us brought some water from our countries, with thanks, wishes, blessings and love – a silent, beautiful hour with space for each of us. In a meditative walk we went to the nearby sea, where Monika blessed the water and let it float into the sea. The waves will bring it around the world to the shores of other countries. GM Monika then played on the harp for all sisters and brothers, birds, plants and stones – with the sound of the waves in the background of the ritual. 13.00 LUNCH 15.00 Three Parallel workshops “Like a butterfly drifting from flower to flower, I moved between the three different activities where The Power of a Circle was being explored. Listening for the meanings that emerged between the lines when landing here and there, I caught brief and unique verses, each distinct, yet all woven into the same shared essence unfolding in parallel”. GM Madeleine How to become a part of a Grandmothers Council? Some 10 women described their experiences of being attracted to join Grandmothers Meeting and shared their path in becoming a part of Grandmother Circles in Denmark and elsewhere. GM Erika explained the process of becoming a member of the Council of European Grandmothers. In the garden, the Flower of Life unfolded. It is a sacred symbol dating back more than 2,500 years which can be found all over the world. The centre of the flower builds a circle with 6 circles on the circumference. We used flour to mark out the circles of every woman on the ground and felt the power of this symbol of life and connectedness and dialogue. Surrounded by birdsong and the cuckoo’s gentle “coo-coo” the flower took shape – the Flower of Life, the Power of Life. /GM Elisabeth On the beach, pyramids emerged, stone by stone, with patience and presence. “It’s all about balance_ like life itself”. /GM Toni 17.00 Next meeting – GM Sophia, France Grandmother Sophia invited all to the open days at the next Council Meeting in the south of France, in the region of Toulouse; March 27th and 28th 2027 (Easter) Closing Ceremony _________________________ A special thank you to: The staff of the Martinus Center The Cooks who made delicious food for us The guests who attended our meeting from other countries in Europe and from Denmark To Johan Bergbäck who made (most of) these wonderful photos |
